It’s New England in October. The smell of fresh, warm apple cider donuts is prominent in nearly every bakery and farm stand, (try them with maple drizzle!). The deciduous trees are in various stages of transformation showing off their splendid bright yellows, brilliant oranges and deep, dark reds are backed by the magnificent evergreens. New England in the fall is intense and dazzling…and what inspired this mini-series of earrings.

They measure about 1 inch and are suspended from my handcrafted sterling silver ear wires which have been oxidized to match.

They were created with pure copper sheet and vitreous enamel (finely ground glass powder) then fired in a kiln at 1450 degrees to fuse the glass to the metal. After multiple firings they were ground and sanded smooth and polished.

Each piece is a reflection of my passion for metalworking as I form, solder, file, saw, fuse, hammer, and polish every piece of jewelry by hand in my Vermont studio.

All jewelry is shipped gift boxed and tied with ribbon all ready for giving.
