This ring is made with a sodalite stone set in sterling silver.
Sodalite was discovered in Greenland in 1811 and was considered as an ornamental stone in 1891 when they found vast deposits of this crystal material in Ontario, Canada.
Sodalite meaning comes from its contained mineral, sodium-rich magmas and it's called the blue "Logic Stone" for its ability to clear the mind and bring out deep thought.
This ring is set at a size 8, but can be adjusted from a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2. Because this is a heavy gauge making it difficult to shape without a ring mandrel, I suggest adding a note at checkout with your size so I can set it for you prior to shipping.
