A Quiet Start: Materials for the Next Collection
Share
There’s something incredibly grounding about the early stages of a collection—before the sawing and soldering, before the pieces take shape. Just a handful of raw materials on the bench, quietly waiting.

That’s where I’m at this week. The new collection, Quiet Metals, is beginning to take form—and true to its name, it’s leaning into simplicity, softness, and subtle detail. I’m working primarily in silver—both sheet and wire—with a handful of soft, translucent stones that glow more than they sparkle.
This collection is a gentle shift from the bold botanicals of my last release. It’s slower, quieter. A little breath between more complex designs. I’m aiming for elegance without noise—clean lines, soft curves, and a calm kind of presence.
This week’s flat lay feels like the first sketch in a new notebook. Just enough to imagine what’s coming, but not so much that it gives it all away.
