Studio Visitors: A Little Slice of Vermont Life

Studio Visitors: A Little Slice of Vermont Life

One of my favorite things about living and working here in Vermont is sharing my space with the wildlife that calls this little corner of the world home.

This past week brought quite the lineup of visitors:
🦌 A pregnant doe quietly browsing in the tall grass
🦃 A pair of turkeys out for their daily stroll (and breakfast)
🐦 A cardinal caught mid-flight
🐾 And of course, my daily groundhog neighbor, making sure the clover population stays under control.

While these visitors don't directly inspire every piece I create, they are a constant reminder of why nature plays such a big role in my work. The textures, shapes, and quiet beauty around me find their way into my designs — whether it’s a leaf imprint on a pair of silver earrings or the soft curve of a petal in a gemstone pendant.

And because this connection to nature is so important to me, 5% of every Divella Designs sale is donated to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). The NPCA works independently (without federal funding) to protect and preserve America’s national parks and the natural spaces we all love. It’s my small way of giving back to the landscapes that continue to inspire my work every day.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek at life outside the studio. Around here, you never know who might show up next.
