Ivory Creek Variscite Necklace – Textured Pendant

This Ivory Creek Variscite pendant has that soft, lichen-like pattern I can never resist—pale green, creamy white, and inky webbing all gathered into one beautifully organic stone. I set it in sterling silver with a hand-textured backplate and bail, giving the whole piece a subtle, weathered texture that feels earthy without being too heavy.

The backplate and bail were textured with a hammer handpiece, creating a softer alternative to my silver dust texture while still keeping that handmade, touchable surface. It gave me the organic feeling I wanted while allowing the bezel to sit cleanly around the stone.

It hangs from an 18" sterling silver popcorn chain, ready to wear on its own or layered with other favorites.
