Pine cones remind us that we are all different, all beautiful, and all perfectly imperfect.
I took tiny pine cones from the ground as they fell from the trees and used them to make molds, then filled the molds with the silver. After they came from the kiln I applied a patina to bring out the dimension and textures nature had imparted. Just as in nature, each one is slightly different.
